This group includes dogs that lead herds (Shepherd dogs) or herds (Cattle Dogs), except for Swiss Cattle Dogs and Nordic Sheepdogs. Shepherd dogs that don't drive but defend livestock are found almost everyone in the group 2, as they are dogs of the type trotting.
The FCI (Federation Cynologique Internationale) recognize 337 races and each one is ‘property’ from a specific country, where it had its origin. All of them are included in 10 Groups under one registration number, a section number and a group number.
